'Home from Home' experience

Nestled in the green oak and chestnut forest of Haut Vallespir in the Pyrenees Orientales region of southern France, Mas Clot d'en Guardia is a haven of peace and tranquility, well and truly off the beaten track. A hour's drive from Perpignan airport and you will find yourself a world away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities; a place you can truly relax, unwind and surround yourself with nature. The garden boasts a multitude of fruit trees and flowering plants, as well as a spring-fed infinity swimming pool, wood-fired hot tub, and plenty of places to sit with a cool drink and rest your weary legs. Listen to bird song and deer barking in the forest as you wake for a hearty breakfast.

Inside, the comfortable accommodation has rooms that can be split into single occupancy or twin rooms, depending on the size of your group, and a spacious double-height dining room to enjoy a home-cooked meal and talk about the highlights of your day's adventure on the bikes.

"A fabulous four days cycling in the Pyrenees courtesy of Chris and Vicky who were the perfect guides and hosts. The routes Chris chose were spectacular and exactly the right level - stretching but enjoyable. Chris was able to amend on the fly when circumstances dictated and was always responsive to the group’s needs, as a whole and individually. The accommodation in a beautiful old farmhouse in the wooded hills above a beautiful valley was very comfortable and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.
