Our local climb, and an all time favourite for many guests.

Takes you from the valley bottom in France up to the Spanish border. Croissants and tapas, all in one ride!

The abandoned iron mine

Col de Coustouges

Vallter 2000 ski station

Batere Col cycling climb in the Pyrenees

Col de la Descarga, Batere. 1150 metres of climbing over 22km. This one is a big climb! Spectacular views all the way to the Med and there's a refuge (café) at the top

Vallter 2000 ski station

Vallter 2000 ski station

Vallter 2000 ski station

Often used in a summit finish on the Tour of Catalunya (little chance of a KOM here!). It's a 23km climbing taking in around 1200 metres of ascent. Come measure yourself against the world tour peloton!

Coll de Manrella

Vallter 2000 ski station

Coll de Manrella

Coming from Catalunya (Spain) into France, this road turns from tarmac to gravel at the border. If you like steep road climbs the bottom section is for you, with grades over 22%! Turn around on a road bike or follow the smuggler's route into France on a gravel bike

Col de l'Ouillat

Vallter 2000 ski station

Coll de Manrella

970 metres of ascent over 16km. Climb into the Alberes mountains; the last hills in the Eastern Pyrenees before they plunge into the Mediterranean Sea. Restaurant and spectacular view at the top. You can see both France and Spain from the ridge
